    Milestone Donner & Blitzed Review

I started this brew around the end of October last year. As far as I can tell everything went well and it was bottled and left ready for Christmas. I'm still battling through the last few bottles as I can't bear to let it go to waste, but sadly I have not enjoyed it. Once poured it has a lovely...

    Milestone Donner & Blitzed Review

Bottled this brew last weekend. Everything ran on rails. Left it in the FV for 2 weeks and got a final reading of 1.012 Its been sitting in a warmish room since bottling and has already cleared completely. Looking forward to trying it a Christmas.

    American Amber Ale

This was only my third kit. But I am very impressed with it. I bottled it about 5 weeks ago and it has cleared lovely. The taste and the smell are divine.

    Bulldog, Evil Dog Double IPA

After giving the FV an extra week while I was away from home, the beer was finally bottled on the 1st March. After a week in the spare room and a little over a week in the garage, I've now sampled two bottles. I certainly has a distinctive taste. Its like nothing else I have tasted, but most...

    Bulldog, Evil Dog Double IPA

I started this kit 17 days ago. As others have said, it took about a day and a half to really get going. All has been fine and at the weekend I added the hops and checked the SG which was 1.010. The kit is still bubbling about once every minute or so. My question is, I'm about to go away for a...

    Brewferm Triple

So temptation got the better of me and I tried a bottle. I bottled my brew on the 5th December and after a week in the warm it has spent the rest of the time in the garage. I know I don't have much to go on but I am a happy bunny. The swing top bottle opened with a pop and the beer poured...

    Brewferm Triple

This is my first kit after what has probably been more than 10 years' absence from the hobby. Being a newbie and not knowing any better, I followed the instructions pretty much to the letter. I used bottled water (5L bottles from supermarket) and brewing sugar. The FV was placed in one of the...

Forbidden Fruit - All time Favourite

Good question. I'm not really sure. I suspect it must come from the hops. The Triple in the FV is coming along nicely. Its been on the go a week now and the occasional bubble is still coming from the airlock. I'll follow the instructions and put it in the second FV (which I ended up buying...

    New Member

Hi, After many many years away from the hobby, I rummaged around in the loft and got my home brewing equipment down to see the light of day. I'm a big fan of bold Belgian Ales, so perhaps I have jumped in at the deep end and ordered a Brewferm Triple kit. I am hoping someone can offer me some...
