    Worst thing you've done..

I`ve had the slug thing happen, just binned the pint I`d poured. I also dropped my wedding ring into a brew then plunged my un-sanitary hand in to retrieve it, that turned out ok as well. on the negative side, one of my early brews, I left it in my shed to ferment but it was far too warm, that...

    Bitter & Mild kit suggestions

out of the one can kits I have done, the best mild in my opinion is the "simply" kit, and the tom caxton best is a good bitter kit. as with most one can kits, it improves if you brew a little short.

    Advice

"Bottled the beer and primed it then rechecked (don't know why) it and it said 1.020!" ok matey, this is the bit that made me think you primed then checked.

    Ruined beer?!?!?!

I must be really lucky with PB`s, I have 4 and the only problem I`ve ever had is a tap that wouldn`t fully close that I had to replace. crikey, mr Murphy/sod will probably pay me a visit now!

    Advice

surely the priming sugar would cause this rise anyway.

    Beer gas

yes but you can`t get the little bulbs of N2, that's why I said N2O.

    Beer gas

if you want the creamy head that you get on g******, then you need N2O (laughing gas) as it has smaller bubbles.

    ginger beer kit.

I`m doing a ginger beer kit next and thinking about adding a lime twist to it. my question is can you just add a "rose`s lime cordial" type thing to it (and if so how much) or something else? Cheers peeps.
