Belgian beer is to be recognised as a branded products with international status. So if it's not brewed in Belgium you can't call it so. A bit like those cornish pasties. ...
I wonder if the beer kits will be reworded. ..

Cheers

Well, most countries already have that requirement (like Germany), so they'll just put on "Belgian style strong ale".

on the subject, i know Brewferm do Belgium kits. is there any others anybody would recommend?
i was on holiday in spain where there was mostly only lager, but thankfully they sold Belgium's which i a way saved my life.
im now into mini mash's too so if anyone can suggest some grains i can add to bulk the kit up and a LME that would also aid a larger volume (only have a 12L pot) this info would certainly be helpful

Cheers

I have a festival Belgium pale ale that I bottled nearly 4 weeks ago and that is a really nice pint.
