Following on from my other new Thread (Once in a Blue Moon) I wanted to use what ingredients I had left over to make a Dark IPA/Chocolate Orange IPA.
In addition to the left over Orange Peel (40g), Hallertauer and Cascade Hops I was thinking of adding 100g of Cocoa Powder and doing the same type of boil for 10 mins before straining and adding 50/50 of dark spray malt and beer enhancer.
Using a Simple Pale Ale Kit pitching White Labs WLP 001 California Ale Yeast.
With dry hopping with the remaining hops (about 40g) and also amarillo hops.
It could work out an interesting experiment. What to you all think?
