Hi

A quick question how many gravity points would I expect to get out of 1lb of elderberries. I am wanting to know for my calculations for my elderberry stout.

Thought I would put it in wine as it is fruit and hopefully Moley might know. :thumb: :thumb:

Mixing units, 1 lb elderberries (454g) is only going to yield 50g of sugar, so 18 points in 1 litre, 1 point in 18 litres.

Thank You Moley. Didn't realise it was so low, not surprising you have to add so much sugar then.

Just looked on Beer Engine software and I need to know Litre degrees per Kilograme.

On your basis of 18 points per litre from one pound then 1 kilo would give me 39.6 points per litre. :wha:
