I'm new to making my own brews, but was brought up with my father doing it doing it through the 70 & 80s. Me and the wife have decided that this is a great way of making interesting drinks and getting alot of people merry for not alot of money. One of the main drivers was my eldests 18th coming up in 3 months and deciding that brewing for the party would be a bit of fun
Currently got the following running:
Worzels Orange Wine - this is great fun, it's like a massive lava lamp and is bubbling away like a mad thing
Turbo Cider - Only put this on tonight, but its already bubbling away nicely
Cheeky Vimto - Another we did tonight, this seems slower to start, but it has started and smells amazing
