Evening all.
Have a Wilko Cerveza on the go and used to packets of youngs lager yeast.
I sprinkled it dry at 23c onto the wart and it did nout for 24hrs.
So I gave it a stir and b*gger me sideways it's off like a rocket!! 48 hours later and the airlocks still going mad like a raped ape.
Thing is My little brew cupboard now smells of rotten eggs/farts. Is this normal or is it off? I don't wanna take lid off while it's chugging merrily away to see.

Gan Canny All.

I would advise to hydrate the yeast (assuming you used dry yeast) before pitching next time. I pitch into 240ml sterilised water and leave for a few hours. It just prepares the yeast for its job. Plenty of info on Google.
