Merseyside Dockers IPA - Hops

Hi all, I’m new to home brewing, just making my first brew using the Merseyside dockers ipa kit. There’s something that’s confusing me though and I would appreciate any advice.

The instructions say to ‘add the foil bag of hops as below;
Group A on day 5
Group B on day 8
Group C on day 10

What’s confusing is that I only got one foil bag and one muslin bag in the kit.

Does anyone know what this means?

From memory the instructions are the same for the whole range of their kits. If you check the instructions again there should be reference to types of kit e.g. stouts, bitters, IPA, something like that. The A/B/C you refer to indicates the type of kit so if you have an A type then add the whole packet of hops on day 5. And so on for the other types.....

Just found the instructions on their website....

• Group A: All Bitters, IPA, APA & Stouts (excl.Russian Lager & Pilsner) plus any others

• Group B: Russian Imperial Stout only

• Group C: Only Lagers and Pilsner

So yours is in group A, adding the hops after 5 days
