Realised I never made one of these posts to introduce myself.
I got into brewing during COVID (had always wanted to try) and ended up very quickly upgrading to the grainfather advanced brewing setup, life returning to normal + a few ruined batches in a row (have learnt that each mistake was a learning and ensured I don't make the same mistakes again) meant I went off the boil with it for a while, decided to commit this year, which is why I've been fairly active on the forum of recent.
Retrospectively would've loved some sort of mentor when starting out, all the reading in the world doesn't equate to knowing everything from the off. Have toyed with joining LAB (London Amateur Brewers) but haven't made the jump yet.
So hello all and look forward to continuing asking stupid questions and annoying you in the future.
