Not tried that one, sounds good though. Is that one of their 500ml bottles? Found out by accident that if you buy 6, you save 10%. Their (Adnams) Mosaic and Jester are rather good.

My local is the Backyard Brewhouse taphouse and their IPAs are astonishing. They've done about 13 in all, but notable are the Chinook IPA, East India IPA, Centennial IPA and Marynka IPA. Their Oatmeal Stout and Porter is good too.
Shop bought bottled beer is not comparable with a good cask conditioned ale in a pub IMO

No,sadly,its a 330 job and not cheap either but what is from M&S?

Tried and liked it a lot; I also think the Amber Adder and their Blanche De Namur Belgian Wheat Beer are pretty damn good.

Had a Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro last night, managed to finally track a couple of bottles down locally to me. My goodness. The awesome nitrogen pour from the bottle is worth the money alone. It's super smooth, super creamy and just delicious. I've got the imperial version waiting for me after work as well.

I've had a couple of bottles from the Cromarty Brewing Co. lately and they were outstanding. Think I had an IPA and Rogue Wave Extra Pale Ale. Both brilliant.
Also like the M&S Southwold Summer IPA which I believe is a rebadged Adnams American IPA.
Speaking of which, Adnams dry hopped lager is not too shabby either.

I agree, so,so good at four for a fiver
The Amber Ale is also good,as good as if not better than two quid bottles (im looking at you Brewdog!!!)
Gecko is better than amber. Amber much better than that ruby one. Oh I picked up the porter too, purple something. I'll try that soon. They sold out of titanic plum porter I got from em a couple of weeks back. Tried that last night and really enjoyed it.
The Gecko slot is always empty at my Lidls

I don't often get to try new beers on tap, living in Norfolk, especially 'trendy' ones.
However was in a pub in Shepherds Bush recently and they had Beavertown Neck Oil on tap. Bloody lovely and had an obscene amount of hopping that I don't suppose I can recreate at home with basic equipment. But goes to show that an IPA doesn't need to be 6/7%. At ã5.50 a pint I had assumed the brewery was in the US, not a few miles away in North London as I later found out!
They had Gamma Ray in cans too, but preferred the Neck Oil, though cans may not have done it justice.
Off to a remote village pub tonight, back to the normal local offerings unfortunately. At least it will be at Norfolk prices!

I bought myself five bottles of beer for Xmas and they all went down really well! I shared three with a mate and two with my son.
Marble Lagonda IPA. This was probably the first craft beer I ever had. It's a sharp, pale IPA which has changed a bit since back then in the late 90s, but has always been refreshing.
Marble American Porter. Not had this before. Really good. Dark in colour but light in malt texture, with loads of fruity hops.
Beavertown Rye IPA. In a can. Also really fruity, with some rye spice, excellent IPA.
Buxton Spa American Pale: very pale, quite sharp, lots of Citra hops. Very nice.
Redwillow Directionless. I've had cask before, I love this beer, an Amber Ale with Centennial and Amarillo. If you see it, buy it. Bitter and fruity, you'll want to clone it. I recently have, still conditioning.
All five beers were fabulous. I like all four brewers a lot.

M&S Styrian Goldings Amber Ale
Definitely Not worth it.
Its like an undercarbed brew thats 1 week old.
Called the complaint line (i know but its the principal) explained im an obsessive beer freak and they are sending me a gift card for a whopping ã2.40 :)
They took the barcode and will investigate?
All the other beers from them are good though.

As clibit mentions the marble beers are all good. If anyones in a weatherspoon in the south east I tried a Kissinggate brewery IPA 5%(sorry don't remember the full name) which is the best beer I have had there in a while but there other beer was awful.
