    Excellent - that sounds good to me. I suppose that it has the advantage that it will only get better with time, so the last bottles should be the best. How much sugar did you add per bottle (750ml), and did you use anything else eg finings/yeast

    Well my first cider brew in many years has now stopped fermenting. My question is, should I keg it or bottle it. Convenience isn't really a factor. I am interested in what you guys think makes for a better tasting product. I am open to any thoughts or suggestions.

    cheers Vossy I was getting all light headed trying to blow bubbles then drinking it. Well I am blaming the blowing LOL Will definitely fit the valve, and get some gas to give it a wee boost.

    Well, just back from holidays and tried the stout - no joy unfortunately. Still as flat as a pancake - tastes quite nice though. Nice liquorice tang to it. So is there anything else I can do to try and add a bit of fizz? Any suggestions are welcome - however bizarre

    Hi Wez, I have the 5 gallon type of keg, but there isnt a gas inlet valve. I picked up one today, as I thought this could come in handy for future reference.
