You are all missing out. We have a thing in Derry and it’s a CPG. Chips peas and gravy. It does not seem to be a thing anywhere else but it’s a staple here.
Cross the border into Donegal and it’s cheesy garlic curry chip is the chip of choice
Cheese and garlic mayo should not be allowed in the same metal container as chips. Curry is fine on its own (with chips) but cheese is for burgers and garlic mayo is for Protestants. FACT.

You haven't had chips until you've had putine. This is a good, solid meal fit for a lumberjack or a trapper. The fair lass who first made us a feast ("snack" in Quebecois- which speaks volumes in itself) was most put out when I put a good lathering of HP sauce on top.
