I dropped in there in the Autumn and picked up a dozen or two.
Brilliantly clean well made beers, great guys and gals too.

My Camden Amber ale to commence.
I have to pace, as I'm into the cold stage of a brew of Bitter (a hoppy special, probably).

Muntons have a malt factory at Stowmarket too, hence my geographical confusion.
You’ve just reminded me that someone gave me a bottle of that. I’m not so keen, it’s a bit thin.

A bit late to the party. Perhaps the only beer of the night, its certainly a sipper. Tastes like a dubbel so far, plenty of alcohol flavours

Brown ale next
Apple and Mango wine with very light carbonation. Mrs dismissed it as another of your horrible wines I disagree lovely sweet very subtle fizz half way between a cider and wine very drinkable tho and the clarity and flavour is big bonus

I found those beers were a bit mediocre to be honest. Bought them once and won’t bother again. What’s your thoughts ?

It was a strange one. More like a Belgian quad, strong alcohol flavours, smokey flavours gave it a Belgian twangThat looks good
Not sure I like those notes! Is that from the barrel aging?
No, smokey flavour comes from using smoked malt or is from phenols produced through fermentation.
Oak adds a subtle oaky vanilla flavour to beer.
Not what I’d have expected, I wonder if the fermentation went a touch off piste?

I found the pale ale and oatmeal stout very good for the price range. The witbier, tripel and brown ale not so good. The neipa is very sweet but has good hop flavour and aroma
Early start for me and SWMBO in our favourite pub waiting for the Man City game to kick off.
Celebration Ale for me and a Pravha for the other half.

The tripel is just nasty. Poor carbonation for the style
