Mines finished its 2 weeks in the cold but I've already had a few. Taste is good but a little to Much carbonation for me, no matter how carefully I pour it fizzes up and I get a massive head.

Have Just got this brew going on Saturday started bubbling away nicely. Planning on leaving it to ferment out add the hops for 5 days then transfer to the secondary for a few days to clear before transferring again to bottle.

Got mine all bottled tonight first taste of my first brew I'm impressed. Now to get the next brew on tomorrow.

Been in the 1st for 10 days the reading is at 1.010. The hop tea bags are in And will be transferring to the bottling bucket tomorrow or Saturday.

How do you clean it just rinse and sterilize?

Can the filter bags be cleaned and reused?

Would it affect it if I put it in the second after 10 days when it's still fermenting or should I leave it to ferment out fully? Let me no how long it takes for it to slow down.

I started this on Monday night and have had some activity tonight when I checked on it bubbling away nicely. I've not opened the lid yet going to wait for 10 day. It's my first brew and can't wait to try it .

Thanks for the advice, I'm a bit worried that it's a bit cold for it not had the heating on in the house yet and had a cold day here today. Hopefully now the heating is on I'll get some bubbles in the air lock.
