    American style Pale Ale and bittering hops

    I'm trying to concoct a recipe with my leftovers, done a Cascade Single Hop Pale Ale from the Greg Hughes book a few brews back which I'd like to do again and adapt to my leftovers. I think I have enough Cascade for the aroma hops, just need something else to go with it for the bittering hops...

    It's going down the sink tomorrow

    Well up to my 7th brew and now made a mistake, managed to spray my wort chiller with E-cover surface cleaner instead of my bottle of Starsan spray (made up in a E-cover bottle) dumped it in the wort covered in the stuff. Thought I might get away with it but after 2 weeks the beer is soapy...

    Bottles - Carb and Condition times

    In my Greg Hughes recipe book it gives an idea of "Ready to drink" in weeks and also a Conditioning time also shown in weeks. This works out to a week in the fermenting bin and then the rest of the time conditioning to reach the "Ready to drink" week. I'm a little confused as to where my process...
