Again, i'm just about all set up now. There's plenty I want but not need (let alone the space to put anything!!) - i had a huge brew haul last Xmas and my birthday this summer :cheers: I think the one brewing thing I'll get this Xmas will be a vacuum sealer to keep ingredients nice and fresh :D

Was tight but I managed to straight swap with my tap, had to 'screw' it through a little which probably made the hole 1/2 mm bigger (if that makes sense :lol:)

I like the romance of waiting until Christmas morning - like a present in itself. Then again, I like the taste of good beer so 'tis a tough one! (My porter is to be bottled this weekend and, whilst it's supposed to be my Christmas drink, there'll be no waiting about haha)

Another vote for Coopers Stout :thumb: Can steep chocolate malt, bottle with coffee, put vanilla in, add lactose for a milk stout, or just do it as normal - plenty of options! Was the best kit I ever did (did it about this time last year ready for Xmas)

Couldn't resist sampling last night, 1 week into fermentation. Cannot believe the taste! It's incredible already The main bulk of fermentation finished pretty quickly. I'm going to let it sit for at least another week, then bottle ready for Christmas. Will add further tasting notes to this...
