update, i just bottled this and put the bottles in a warm place ,were thay will stay for 2 weeks and then in the lift for another 2 weeks. i had a sneaky taste and i think this is going to be a nice one :thumb: i'll let you know how it turns out when its ready. :D after bottling i washed...

i agree :thumb: i do the same, 5-6 liters of boiling water in first ,then add lme and stir ,then top up with cold water . :cheers:

hi, i done a partial mash last night , i took a sample then added the yeast but when i put the hydrometer in, it was only at 1032 witch i think will give me about 3%abv if im lucky. question is can i add more dextrose now (its been in the fv for about 17 hours ) ,so i can get 4-5% abv chris
