hi newbie question.
on the brewmate software ,what does the no - chill check box mean ? :wha:
 
When you have finished the boil you put the wort into a container and let it chill naturally, rather than using an immersion chiller or the like :thumb:
 
I use BrewMate, and a no-chill cube, but I don't use this checkbox. I'm pretty sure it's meant for situations where you're cooling naturally in the kettle without removing the hops, as it increases the IBUs significantly.

If you're drawing wort off to a cube, or using a hop sock, then it doesn't apply.
