My last 2 brews have both used Whitelabs and finished at 1010 from 1046 and 1048 stay in primary for 12 days then into bottling bucket, last brew went into my newly purchased cornie hope it works as well as bottled :pray:

I too have this type but mounted it on a short section of worktop so that I can move it from the garage to kitchen when bottling.

Thanks Snail I thought that might be the reason but didn't want to ask :oops: When will the beer absorb the optimum amount or will it keep on absorbing?

Bought a cornie and filled it with 19l of Pale Ale however prv has hissing. I replaced the prv rubber with a new rubber and it appeared to stop. However over 24 hours it has gone from 13psi to <3psi this has happened for 3 days. There is no obvious leak, is this normal or should it hold at 13psi?

Thanks Aleman great review, it was a bit strong as I got my liquor/sparge quants slightly out and lost a bit more than expected to grain etc. Have brewed it again and got a 4.8% brew which will be 4 weeks in the bottle this weekend. And a big thank you to Tubby Too! :cheers:
