    wilko.com sale

Went into kidderminster today, loads on shelf and in the foyer, spent £52, saved £52! Got a golden ale, real ale, wherry, coopers lager, forest fruit cider, fv, 2 bags brewing sugar, 3 bags spraymalt, sanitiser and 3 packets of yeast! Went to the father in laws, he said I could have all his...

Tesco Value Kettles back on shelves maybe?!

If they were a product withdrawal for safety reasons, then they would not have gone through the till as the barcode is noted and it would stop the sale. As far as I am aware they were discontinued as part of the latest range change. The way to tell is if the shelf edge label label has an * on...

I can recommend the bell at Pensax festival in worcetershire. Usually the last weekend in June, live music too. http://www.ratebeer.com/event/21105/

Newbie with a whole bunch of questions!

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the European lager comes with a lager yeast, so would benefit from the cooler temp.

    The story so far......

Ok, so I bought a coopers starter kit 10 days ago, managed to get the store to swap out the lager for an apa, and swapped the brew enhancer for the correct one. That's been in the fv since and is now at 1008. So tempted to bottle now, but the perceived wisdom is to leave it longer! Since then I...

    1st Brewday! Coopers IPA

So, I took the plunge today, after a couple of weeks looking around internet, mostly on here, I went and bought the Coopers starter kit. I thought about the wilkos starter kit, but that came with a barrel, and I fancied bottling, plus I liked the look of the fv in the coopers kit. Got the kit...

Fizzy bottled beer (or cider) with no sediment - how?

Craigtube did a piece on this here, don't know if you would need to import tho. It's a device you fit when bottling and then remove when the beer is carbonated. Sorry it won't let me post the link because I am a new user, if you search youtube you should find it.
