    Woodfordes Wherry all grain recipe

Hindolveston is a bit out of the way, but a nice area to live. Haven't been in the murderers for years, but it's certainly one to visit. Bit of a hotspot for Aviva and city office workers so gets busy certain nights. The fat cat has 3 pubs. Fat cat, brewery tap and fat cat and canary. The owner...

    Woodfordes Wherry all grain recipe

Can't beat a proper pint of Wherry  . Most pubs are brewery owned and you have to be lucky to get it on the guest tap, unless you go to their own pub which I find quite expensive. Johnny boy. Search out a fat cat pub in Norwich and you'll have all you'll ever need to try :thumb:

Woodfordes Wherry - First time brewer questions!

Most of the kits I have done were cloudy when bottling, after a month in the bottle they came out and nice and clear (put some of it in clear bottles to see how it was going)

    solar security lighting

http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Lighting/Exterior%20Lighting/Solar%20Sensor%20Light/d220/sd2663/p35236 We have one of these on a northerly facing wall and it works well enough in the summer months but in the winter when the sun isn't strong enough I've had to put duracells in. You can't beat a...

    beer and frost

A paint shop I worked in had a wooden cupboard with a light fitting. The low wattage bulb Kept the paint just above freezing in the winter time. An old sideboard with a light fitting and blanket over the top should do the job.

    Homebrew or shop bought

I like my kit homebrew but given the choice a bottle of Humpty Dumpty 'Broadland or wolf brewery 'granny wouldn't like it' any day! I tried some beer club samples from AG brewers, if I could do it like they do I would never buy another bottle again.

New boy here and pressure barrel question?

Welcome :D I was given a couple of brewmaster barrels at the weekend, my uncle used to make kit brews about 15+ years ago. They need a good clean up but the valves in the caps are corroded inside, they have flathead screw type pressure valves. Before the modern rubber type ones which are...

    worthy's cream flow

When it comes to kit brewing like wherry and Nelsons revenge I'm doing it for the saving as they're up to £3 a bottle in the shops. From recollection worthingtons is about £1 a can in the supermarket so probably more cost effective just to buy some. Buy a nice kit and enjoy a pint of something...
