    Primary has now almost complete 10 days in. Which had very weird airlock activity. I'm going to dry hop in secondary. But should I wait until primary has completed Wait until primary had completed and wait a few days for rest. Or just transfer straight away

    This what it looks like over the last hour or so. Give it a another hour it wil be going like a gooden then just stops dead The krausen looks very dense Could it just be traped gas. Then once pressure builds it releases. Then The krausen may seal over.

    Hi guys this is a bit weird On one of my FVs the airlock stops and starts at random. And it's not minutes but hours. It can be bubbling away like a train then just stop dead. A few hours later it goes again. Temp is stable at 21C Airlock is not block or too full. I'm stumped.

    Well krausen forming and smells amazing. But very low activity from the air lock positive pressure but only 1 very small bubble every minute or so.

    That was way too late to start but did enjoy doing it. Plan to leave for 2 extra days in primary after fermentation has stopped. For diacetyl rest. Don't no if I need to but I'm sure it will not hurt anything. Then ten days in secondary with 50g - 75g of each hop. For dry hopping . Is that...

    Is degassing WOWs necessary

    Will causing a vortex be a issue of dragging in Oxygen, will the stabilizes stop the oxidation. Or I'm I just talking rubbish :)

    I've been using wine kits for a while now and degas them every time, but making wows or even fruit based ferments, is it necessary to degas them. Don't no if this is right but is it Co2 and SO2 when the stabilizer is added?

    1 gallon all grain brew. recipe anyone

    It's a 3 gallon stock pot ( I think anyway) 2 brews one batch. :( May add some some fuggles too with a little more crystal also have some Nottingham yeast but think that may be a bit expensive for a small brew. Mind ticking over now :)
