Hop filter alternative?

I've not used one of those but it looks really good. I wanted to get something similar for my old kettle but couldn't find anything at the time (now I use a Grainfather). All I could find were custom made filters for £45+.

I have a spare false bottom (I think it's this one: http://www.the-home-brew-shop.co.uk...ainless_Steel_False_Bottom_small.html#SID=171) which I would have suggested otherwise and I'm gonna be putting that in another kettle I own.

I use a peco boiler for my all grain brewing (not biab).

I have had issues with the copper hop filter (bit of pipe with drilled holes) clogging while draining wort. While I can scrape the filter to clear the trub I’m keen to find an alternative.

Do you think this would work better?

I use this with no hop filter and it works fine i do run off through a siv tho just to catch owt that gets through

I’ve got one of these and works fine, also stops any element scorching.
