So, I tend to brew most in the spring when I often find weekends are free of kids' sport, but not nice enough to do much else!

I have three mini kegs of home-brew from last April. Do you reckon they'd still be drinkable? They've been stored in a cool cupboard, airtight in the keg.

How long do people keep their beer generally? I love brewing, but don't drink a huge amount!!

So, its clear, but really gassy, and tastes like TCP! I used Milton fluid to sterilise the mini kegs - could that be causing it? Not sure if that's a chlorine based disinfectant??

That's a sham:-(e

I believe Milton does contain a small amount of chlorine and this phenolic type taste (like licking a plaster) is usually attributed to chlorine, either in the brewing water or in chlorine based sanitizers.
