I have noticed no-one stores their grain in the freezer. Is this just due to unavailable of freezer space, or is it actuary bad for the grains?

I was under the belief that the freeze thaw action that would take place when putting your grains in the freezer would have a positive effect upon the yield (improving your brew house efficiency) due to the plant matter being ruptured so the sugars can be more readily dissolved.

There is no water in the grain so the freeze thaw action would be very limited . . . . . Plus it could be considered a 'damp' environment which is really bad for the grain. . . . . . . Somewhere cool dry and in the dark is ideal
