Anyone got a clone recipe for old golden hen? I really like this beer... I emailed the brewery and they told me there was pale and amber malts.
Fuggels, galaxy and willemate hops, any ideas on quantities? ;)

Nice find steve.

@beechwood If you want to get all authentic, Hen's Tooth is supposed to contain the primary Moreland yeast strain, so you could culture some up if you liked.

I wouldn't worry about an exact clone, it's the Galaxy hops you like. I would go with 90% pale malt, 5% caramalt and 5% wheat. Something like that. I'd bitter with a different hop too, Galaxy can get harsh. Use something like Challenger for bittering. OF 1042 ish. 35ish IBUs. US05 yeast probably. The caramalt will boost the malt and sweetness a bit, the wheat will fluff up the head.
