I wondered if you can buy lactic acid from a local chemist?
I see some on ebay cheap but I worry about it's quality as I am drinking it.
Has anybody bought it from a reliable source other than a home brew shop?

I've bought some from muphy's in the past but think they've closed their homebrew side of things. I bought 85% phosphoric recently from eBay (all food grade) from a well known company and not had any issues
