I've done a few wine kits and normally once I've added the finings they clear within about 48 hours, however I'm currently doing a wilko rose and the instructions state it takes about 7 days to clear from adding the finings.

If I but more finings to add will this clear it quicker or just make my wine taste like **** ?

Wouldn't normally be bothered but we have friends coming to stay and SWMBO has made me promise the house would be homebrew free by Saturday morning,
Apparently 25l buckets in every room aren't very attractive

I did a 6 bottle of this a while back, after adding the finings, I left it for around 2 weeks, their instructions I think are a bit optimistic. Then racked off to a clean vessel, and left for another 10 days, then bottled. With these I find it takes time! The only other way is to filter it.
