I was thinking the other day about beer becoming lightstruck.
I'm most of the literature we read we are warned of this condition when the uv hits the hops and makes beer go bad and that we should use brown glass to avoid it.
But how come some beers come in clear glass (old speckled hen for one), are they treated somehow to avoid this?
What about a clear glass FV like a demijohn or carbuoy? How are these not effected?
