Apple press rentals

Does anyone know of any Homebrew shops in the Manchester are that rents out fruit presses. Ive got a tree which will be ready shortly so I'm preparing in advance

Interesting concept... :hmm: Never heard of people renting out presses...

I know a chap at work made one himself - nothing fancy, but it worked... although I can't help on detail :lol: :whistle:

You could always get one off fleabay, use it, then flog it on quick before the apple harvest season ends :thumb:

I made mine for under £100 including the bottle-jack, and that was DIY-shed prices. You could probably save a bit on materials compared to me by ringing around the timber yards. Took an afternoon to cut and assemble.

I think Stockport Homebrew have a small press for hire (IIRC £5 per week with £50 deposit). Might be worth giving them a shout?
