Hi all.
I'm going to be using a burco 30L boiler to BIAB.
Just wanted to check how many L of wort should I be aiming for when looking at recipes, is 19l realistic?
Thanks

I use a 30 litre burco boiler. It will all depends on the gravity of beer your looking to brew. General I fill to the 30 litre mark on the boiler, add the bag then your grain.
After your mash is complete and you remove the grain, I normally sparge until I get 9 litres. Boil for 30mins to an hour depending on the recipe. I normally achieve around 20-21 litres of wort. After fermentation is complete I get 19 litres into a keg of 38x 500ml bottle's.
The best advice is to try it yourself. Don't worry about number's. Just brew and take notes đź‘Ť
Happy brewing
