A long, long time ago, I used to brew lager from a kit with my teenage buddy, it tasted awful, but it was cheap and it made me woosey.
A long time later, I brewed some cider with some apples from the fields around where I live. A visit to the local homebrew shop for the necessary yeast and syphoning equipment has re-kindled my interest particularly as many of my favourite Belgian brews are now on offer.
I've started with Brewferm kits, having brewed Christmas and Diablo (oh yes), and have a Triple on the go in the clarification phase.
I live near to St Helens and use The Wine Loft for my supplies.
Will be obtaining a mash tun when funds allow......
