So. I have been brewing experimental 'orribles in 2L bottles for a little while. Some turns out OK, some would be "an acquired taste". Hm. A subject for later.

This question is about the initial brew process only, with regard to absolute minimum effort.

If I gather together the ingredients, including say white granulated, flavouring, fruit juice, yeast., nutrient, water, and tip them all into the bottle, without doing any mixing, shaking, dissolving or whatever, will the fermentation process mix it all up?

Agreed but could be a slow startup if the yeast cells don't get to build their colony because they ain't just getting what they need in the bit of the "mix" they're sat in (a lack of oxygen for example).
