What do people use for cleaning.

I've been using VWP but have consistent chlorine issues.

I'm now using Starsan to sterilise and will use Campden tablets in my next brew.

I need to find a chlorine free cleaner that does the business!

Why is it people say VWP leaves a chlorine taint? I use this almost exclusively and never have any problems. A forced rinse in hot water is essential, followed by three or four cold spray rinses. I always wash and rinse in the garden and have an outside hot and cold tap, so I can spray away liberally without worrying about spills or splashes.

I use soda crystals or OXI for cleaning. It helps to remove all organic residue on equipment. Even best sterilizing agent won't help if you have dirty equipment.
And for sterilizing I use vidine it last for years and you can buy it almost everywhere.

I just use hot water for cleaning. I tend to wash things straight away though so no crusty dried on bits to remove

For sanitising I use Starsan - quick, easy and lasts for ages!
