Cointreau Style Brew

Random question.

has anyone made a sort of imitation Cointreau?
I know the alcohol would be lowered so you’d end up with more of an orange wine.
But my old man loves Cointreau so I feel it would be nice to try and make a sort of Cointreau style brew. He mixes probably half and half with lemonade so I could add lemon or something?
Anyways looking forward to any ideas!

Well i don't think an orange wine would cut it,What you would end up with is something that tasted like wine not Cointreau.

Its amazing that wine can be made from Brussels sprouts and still end up tasting like a grape wine.

Your best bet might be one of the firms that make high alcohol kits this would give you about 20%abv and a reasonably authentic flavour.
