Hi, still quite new to this but everything I've brewed so far has had added sugar in to the fermentation bin. I bought a coopers lager kit and followed instructions but it didn't ask for sugar at all, just recommended coopers brew enhancer no.2. I didn't have this so I added 1kg of wilko brewing sugar. This was just yesterday and it is fermenting well.
I just wonder how it will turn out. Smells great.

The so called "Brew Enhancers" tend to be half sugar and half malt extract. If by some chance you had access to 500g of pale malt extract, you could add it in and not worry too much about "clumping". After 2 weeks in the FV, it will all be gone.

If you don't, no worries, it will will make a nice, light, summery sort of a brew.
