Hi,all,
Iam a newbie to full mash and i am making a false bottom for my mash tun,i intend to stand it off the bottom using legs.Do i need to add more water to compensate for the space under the filter when i staet to mash,Thanks Bob.

yes your mash water will consist of the strike water plus the amount thats under your false bottom and not in contact with your grains.
