Hi,
I live in the north of Scotland, I joined this forum last year and have made some brews from kits which have been quite good.
Bavarian wheat beer was my first which fermented for almost three weeks in the FV. finally got it bottled and it initially had very little flavor, it sat in my garage for 5 months and I eventually decided to try another bottle and Wow! what a transformation. I have just bottled another batch.
I also have a Beaverdale Rojo Tinto red wine kit fermenting at the moment.
I tried to brew an all grain beer about 4 months ago using spray malt some crystal malt and I added some ginger to it...that ended up down the drain.
I am planning another foray into AG brewing with this link:

I also have plans on making an AG beer using distillers peated malt, I have connections in the whisky industry and so I can get hold of a few kilos of milled malt.
Looking forward to learning some new skills and gaining some new knowledge in this rewarding hobby.
