Good evening everyone! I was asked to say hi in this forum so here I am. I have zero brewing experience but have been bought a home brew kit.
A couple of brewing stories in my younger days to get started.
When I was a youngster my best friend's dad brewed his own for 8p a pint if I remember rightly.
At a similar time one of my dad's friends tried it. He bottled all his beer and put it in the spare room or something. Some time later he was surprised when he found all the tops popping off or they exploded - something like that. After some thought, he realised he had put a dessert or tablespoon of sugar in each bottle when he should have added just a teaspoon!
