Hops Strainer Help

Thinking of putting together my own hops strainer for the inside of my electrim boiler thingy, whats the best way to connect to the back ot the existing tap (it's one of the standard plastic ones with about a 20mm bore on the inside, but don't know what the outside thread size is) also any help on best thing to strain the wort (drilled copper tube/braided steel hose/nylon mesh etc?)

Sorry can't help with the electrim as dont have one but the best thing to use IMO is the braided steel tube. It works a treat at filtering out most of the hops and break, you can get it off ebay HERE then you just need some hose clips to hold it on :thumb:
