I'm over on the Isle of Wight Monday to Thursday helping to commission and snag the new Chain ferry that goes between east and west Cowes.

Does anyone know where I can get a good pint over there? We are staying over in East Cowes.

Cheers!

Okay , for anyone that was interested I had a few pints this evening, all of which were average.

We are staying in in East Cowes. I had a pint of Yates at the Prince of Wales and it had turned, it tasted like vinegar.

I had a reasonable, but still average pint of Goddard's Fuggle at a place called the lifeboat.

Then a terrible pint of SA Brains at the white hart. Not that brains is a good pint anyway, but still....

So far, it's been pretty naff. The craft beer movement still has a way to go. I don't know if this happens to you guys often but I was sitting there thinking that my beer was infinity better than this swill!
