20g Amarillo 60mins
20g Amarillo 20mins
Protofloc 15mins
20g Amarillo 5mins
40g Amarillo 0mins

Cube for 48hrs

SO5 yeast

Disaster! Well a bit anyway. Hop filter got clogged up instead of cubing very hot wort it trickled out and was just a bit warm by the time it finished. It also smelled strongly of ginger which suggests to me that there were bits of ginger in the hop filter. It's getting steam cleaned!!!
 
Looks like just the kind of recipe I like. What was your OG? Do you calculate efficiency?
 
Due to the difficulties I didn't bother. It will have been around 1.050, my technique is pretty consistent. As I've said to you before though taste is the only stat I really care about. If I use 4.5 kg of grain I usually get a beer approaching 5%.
