I kg lager malt
100g saaz
500g light spray malt
Saflager yeast full packet

Boiled up malt
Cooled then reboiled with saaz in hop bag

Cooled and split between 2 demijons
Saflager yeast

Will this be a reasonable brew ?

Thanks

Did you mash the lager malt first? Assuming you did then your wort will be around 1.055 at 9 litres. How much hops did you boil and how long for?

Well 50g for 45min will give you 50 ibu, it'll be quite bitter but you should get away with it. You would benefit from some brewing software now your going into grains and hops. Keep it out of daylight for a few weeks and watch it doesn't blow out of the demijohn there's not enough headspace in those normally. Good luck :thumb:

I want to know how it tastes but I`m not doing it!
I`m imaging a very sweet/bitter taste if you boiled the grain. Lots of unfermentable sugars but the extracts will ferment so thats good I think.
Your a pioneer, Good luck!
And let us know how it turns out please.
