New to brewing but having fun

Hi all,
I am new to the home-brewing hobby and I have recently bottled (and am waiting to taste) my first brew, a cider which came with the kit; youngs pear cider.

I have also got the Bulldog 'Hammer of Thor' lager ready to start and was wondering if anyone has already given it a go and could offer any advice - sugar, temp, time, bottle of keg etc..I have an old plastic keg which has been handed down to me but I don't know what the gas valve is? Are they all standard S30?

I don't use those type of kegs but I understand there are more valves an just the s30. Have a search on here :thumb:
