Hi Guys

Ive hatched a recipe for my next AG brew, I thought I would post the recipe on here for any advise before brew day comes around, im hoping it will be a thick rich strong ale

Any advise will be gratefully received

HEAD BANGER (Extra Special/Strong Bitter (English Pale Ale))

Original Gravity (OG): 1.080 (°P): 19.3
Final Gravity (FG): 1.020 (°P): 5.1
Alcohol (ABV): 7.86 %
Colour (SRM): 17.3 (EBC): 34.0
Bitterness (IBU): 49.4 (Average)

7.0kg 84.34% Maris Otter Malt
0.5kg 6.02% Wheat Malt
0.25kg 3.01% Biscuit
0.25kg 3.01% Caramalt
0.25kg 3.01% Crystal 120
0.05kg 0.6% Carafa III malt

40g 1.7 g/L Northern Brewer (9.6% Alpha) @ 90 Minutes (Boil)
30g 1.3 g/L Northern Brewer (9.6% Alpha) @ 20 Minutes (Boil)
30g 1.3 g/L Northern Brewer (9.6% Alpha) @ 0 Minutes (Aroma)

0.1 g/L Irish Moss @ 15 Minutes (Boil)

Single step Infusion at 67°C for 90 Minutes. Boil for 90 Minutes

Fermented at 20°C with Muntons Premium Gold

not tried orthen Brewer hops but looks fine to me......hmmmm malty beer.
 
Looks ESB rich :thumb:

What yeast?

I tried a Fullers ESB a few weeks ago, kinell it was tasty :drunk:
