Just a quick one.

I fancy making a pear cider, is it just the same as making a turbo cider but with pear juice (supermarket juice)??

Thanks in advance.

ive done the magnum pear cider and it was nice, it did have a sort of pear drop taste to start with but after a few weeks it was tremendous.

Don't try using the Lidl pear nectar.
Some say Tesco have a pear juice, but I couldn't find it in my nearest.
There are some mostly-apple-and-a-bit-of-pear juices about, might be worth trying.

Magnum kits are a safe bet. The brew smells terrible at first but, after maturing for 4-5 months, the fruit flavour really kicks in!

Thanks for the info eveyone. I'd not considered a kit, I was thinking about using juices.

I'll get a Magners kit as adviced.

Cheers :thumb:

Merry Xmas to All :drink: :drunk:
