I want to start brewing my home made beer.
I live in Sao Jorge Island in the Azores, which only has 9000 people.
I have no one here to ask for help, no one makes homemade beer (I want to be a pioneer here).
I have ordered from the mainland (Portugal) all the equipment which I think is necessary. My first beer will be the Muntons Pilsner with the Muntons Enhancer, I hope this is a good choice.
I have an old fridge which I will adapt a temperature controller (STC-1000 from eBay UK).
My question: I was told that I should do the fermentation stage at 14 degrees Celsius, will the yeast that comes with the kit work OK at this temperature?
Please give me suggestions.
