Here's another question from a brewing dummy..on the recipes section I understand the boil length but in the bittering hops section is the Mins bit (say 60) is that from the start or finish of say a 90 min boil?
 
hi yeah when 50 or 60 mins given it is on about how long you boil em , so if i boiled for a full 90 mins i would write it as 90 min saaz hop 20g then 10g at 45min etc and so on.
 
Most folk work it that way. Hop A 60 mins meaning the hop to be in the boil for 60mins Hop B 20 mins to be in boil for 20 mins
0 mins means when the heat is turned off. ( little bittering will be produced...more for aroma )
