Has anyone made a wine from these? Im having some issues. I used a Guava and a watermelon, (separate) both with WGJ and usual sugars etc as per the WOWwith small adjustments as I like my wine between 11% and 12%
The guava, even after 2 1/2 weeks was still blowing the airlock, never seen that before?. they are both now at 3 weeks, and have calmed down to a steady bloop every 5 seconds or so, so almost done. Temp has been a constant 20 degress. The messy 'brain matter' stuff we get with these wines is still on the surface, and will not budge. The wine smells fine, quite nice actually, but the scum on the top :sick:
