Hi All,

First brew of the year last weekend.

have got 55L of 1046 wort and 3.5 days in it has only dropped to 1028, I usually see quite quick ferments as I pitch 3 satchets into this amount of beer.

this time I rehydrated 2x us05 + 2x nottingham both kept in the fridge since last Nov (us05 from paul at BB so not vacpacked)

The nottingham is the affected batch I think (read after pitching)

Tis bubbling away and smells/tastes fine so do you think it'll be ok?

Your yeast may just be a little slow after it's long time in hibernation, If it's bubbling it's doing something just slowly

my last brew took 11 days to sneak down to 1010I was surprised at the slowness as it was kept at 18 but is gorgeous now and nearly ready to barrel
